Amangiri – Canyon Point, Utah

Located in the Four Corners area, near the border between Utah and Arizona, a two-and-a-half-hour drive south of Bryce Canyon, about the same from St. George, this is Aman Resort’s second stateside venture, and it is definitely the most exotic of the two—Amangani, its U.S. sib, is a modern, minimalist ranch in the shadow of the Tetons, just outside Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Amangiri, which translates to “peaceful mountain” in Sanskrit, is surrounded by iconic, 200-million-year-old mesas and thrilling rock spires. Nearly every window focuses on panoramas that take in these hypnotic red and orange formations, striking, visual ambassadors for the region since the first Conestoga wagons rolled west.
